MonaCK Posted January 14, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2008 If your beds are not already together, your cabin steward will do it for you :)
CateW Posted January 14, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2008 I've never had to ask, the beds have always been put together.
Suebee42 Posted January 15, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 15, 2008 My husband and I did it on our own on our first cruise... no biggie. Everything's pretty light and easy to move. :D We left them made as two beds, too... no cover stealing! LOL! (we did a quad with two female friends of mine, so... uh... privacy wasn't a priority. ;) )
Krazy Kruizers Posted January 15, 2008 #5 Share Posted January 15, 2008 When our TA sends in to book a cruise for us, she always indicated that we want the beds together to make a king bed.

mousey Posted January 17, 2008 #8 Share Posted January 17, 2008 I usually cruise with the DH and DS (12 1/2) we always ask for them to separate the beds so that we have more room to move around. Never had to move them ourselves.:D
Nanatravel Posted January 17, 2008 #9 Share Posted January 17, 2008 Thanks for all the advice we can't wait to leave. Going on NCL Jewel 2/10/08:cool: Bring along some Post-It notes and write a little note with any stateroom requests for your Steward. Let him put the beds together as he will also get the correct bedding and locks them in place. If you need extra pillows or anything you don't see available, he/she will be glad to assist you. Great question. Keep them coming. We were all new to cruising once. Helpful Hint: I was talking to an avid cruiser who just returned from a trip today. He did not know this fact. Do tip the waiter at any "Alternative Dining Rooms where you pay a fee." The fee usually only gives a very modest gratuity like $2 to the server. Bon Voyage Nanatravel
