1st cruise

My husband and I did it on our own on our first cruise... no biggie. Everything's pretty light and easy to move. :D

We left them made as two beds, too... no cover stealing! LOL!

(we did a quad with two female friends of mine, so... uh... privacy wasn't a priority. ;) )

Thanks for all the advice we can't wait to leave. Going on NCL Jewel 2/10/08:cool:

Bring along some Post-It notes and write a little note with any stateroom requests for your Steward. Let him put the beds together as he will also get the correct bedding and locks them in place. If you need extra pillows or anything you don't see available, he/she will be glad to assist you.

Great question. Keep them coming. We were all new to cruising once.

Helpful Hint: I was talking to an avid cruiser who just returned from a trip today. He did not know this fact. Do tip the waiter at any "Alternative Dining Rooms where you pay a fee." The fee usually only gives a very modest gratuity like $2 to the server.

Bon Voyage
