Dock in St. Maarteen?

I'm thinking of Adventure of the Seas in June and would like to meet with some friends who will be holidaying in St. Maarteen. Does anyone know if the ship ties up in St. Maarten or does one take the boat in? Also, is there more than one dock where cruise ships tie up there?

Good spot to meet up would be right out side the dock. There is a big yellow shopping/building area and right in front is a low wall (you can sit and get a picture taken there or lean up against it) that says St. Maartin in big pink and blue letters. If you tell them to meet you there you can't miss them!
