belize tender question

Tenders are very speedy and you will be at the pier before you know it.

We always avoid sitting in the back of the tenders when tendering into Belize as the boats travel so fast that the passengers in the very back of the boats often get a bit wet from water sprays.

We love the tenders. They're like an excursion all on their own.

That's a FACT! And they are an "experience". Everything in the harbor that floats becomes a "tender" when a cruise ship arrives. These are all "tenders".

I thought the Jamacian tenders had more "smoke"

I get my ports confused...

btw, Had coffee in "the MUG" this am.............thanks again.

Craig I'm glad that mug was the right color and that it made it all the way back from Florida in my car. The mug cost more to ship it to you than to buy it.

I was in the kitchen the other day and fumbled a can by the sink......my only Triumph mug was smashed to pieces.....I just can't win. I'm breaking them as fast as I can get CC'ers to help me replace them. I think I better give up and just place the shipping cost in a cruise fare account. LOL

i read the belize tender is 3-4- miles ride? is this true? is there bathrooms in the tender? bar?

thanks

michele

Not sure of the distance - but shore is a long way from the ship. It is probably around a 10 minute ride, the tenders are fast!

No bathrooms and no bar.

We sat on the back of a tender leaving Belize & didn't get wet at all. We sat on the back because it was just too hot inside for me when we tendered to Belize. I was hoping for a little spray when we left.

You must have had smooth waves that day.:)

I don't mind getting wet and have sat at the back of the tenders before. but I'd reather sit at the back of the tender on my way back to the ship than on my way into the pier.

Just a female type of thing regarding hair styles and such.:D

Make sure you take your meds at breakfast and one right before you get on the tender. i ended up getting sick anyway. took something like 5 tabs in a 8 hour period that day.
