Sunday Mass

Princess tries to have a priest or rabi on board for special holidays. Sometimes you are lucky and a priest will be traveling on vacation and Princess will help set up a time and place for Mass. We have been pretty lucky and had priests on most of our cruises. As others have said, non-denominational services are usually conducted, generally by a crew member or passenger.

When we did the Alaskan cruise in 2005,on the Diamond there was priest on board & he said Mass every day.

Last year we did the Grand Med aboard the Emerald , there wasn't any Masses said on that cruise.

Maybe there will be a priest on our upcoming cruise the Classical Europe aboard the Royal in MAY. icon7.gif

On our last cruise, there was a reverend, a priest, and a rabbi on board. But then it was a holiday cruise during Hanukkah and Christmas. We did make it to the first night of the menorah lighting, which was well attended. Didn't check on the Christmas services. Since these officiants were onboard anyway, there were usually sabbath services for all three groups as well as some services on a daily basis.
