Belly Flopping in the pool

Somehow on Pride last year, my DH, my BIL and my FIL were all chosen for the game "Fear Factor" on the second sea day. The first "fear" was belly flopping into the (tiny) pool. They had to come up with creative ways to flop, so BIL stood up on top of the handrails, and DH climbed up the "mermaid" on the other side of the pool. It was great! BIL ended up winning and DH came in a very close second at the end of the game. For the rest of the cruise, people kept coming up to us and saying it's Elvis 1 and Elvis 2, since that's what names they put down on their drawing slips:p

Does anyone know if there is any of that going on in the pools? :D

I haven't seen many belly flops but I HAVE seen quite a few cannonballs...mostly by little kids...some of them busted by the pool patrol. And WAY too much marco polo...but that's just me...LOL.

Incorrect. They do have a belly flop contest on the Miracle, as well as other ships. Pretty much no danger of hitting bottom anyway.

Haven't actually seen said contests, but have heard about them.
