Nightclub question

I'll be traveling with my daughter (who will be 17 in March, 2005) on the Sensation, 11/29/04. Will she be kicked out of the nightclub at a certain time?

Not sure WHY, but the disco is open for 16 and up after 11... That is my one irk with that ship, they REALLY need a club for 21 and over... preferably 25 and over! LOL!

Carnival's website says:

 

Guests under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult in all public areas of the ship. Guests under the age of 16 must vacate the disco by 10:45pm.

Don't they have a teen disco area that's seperate from the adult disco on some ships?

On some ships they do, but not on the Sensation :(

Charlotte, I thought they did too so I pulled out my Capers from the Legend. On our first sea day, Medusa's Lair was open for teens aged 12-17 from 9:30 until 11. Then it was 16 and over only after that.

The Glory has a teen club; the disco is for 18 & up after 10:00 p.m.

Thanks ya'll! She will be with us at all times, especially in the nightclub. My 21 year old sister will also be with us & she was worried about my daughter feeling left out (ain't that sweet!). She's not one to just run off by herself.

Your daughter might make some friends during the cruise. Encourage her to go to the teen meet and greet on the first night. She'll have so much to do, even if she can't go to the nightclub (seems different ships have different rules).

CruisinMom: yes- its very important that your daughter go to that teen meeting very first night. My kids were that age on our first cruise on the Sensation= She will have a great time--even more so if she gets to hang with kids her own age. Being 17 she will be able to use the gym/spa area by herself- there is a great hot tub located in the spa area that no one knows about. Will make a great family relaxing time an hour or so before getting ready for dinner.

I am going on that cruise as well. The 11/29/04 Sensation. I am also from Mississippi. I cant wait. I am 21..

Crusin - I'm looking at my Capers from my Nov.1 Sensation cruise. There is a teen club called "O2"...for ages 15-17 only. There are activities listed for each night. They meet at "Spirals". With all the other activities, they also have listed: "9:30-10:30pm - Teen Disco, and 11:15pm - Late night dancing". Sounds like she'll be able to keep herself busy.
