KNITWITS Posted May 29, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2008 A while ago I remember reading somewhere about an early check in at the Queen Mary for embarking either the Pride or Paradise. Can't find it under the forum search and didn't mark it at the time since I didn't need it then. Does anyone have infomation on how to do this if it's even still an option?

ATLbear Posted May 29, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 29, 2008 There is early check-in at the Queen Mary. Very quick. If you get there early they let you tour the ship. Very interesting tour. If you have all of your pre-registration done online and print out your Fun Pass you should be done in 5 minutes. We went on the Pride back in February. Excellent check-in process and wonderful cruise.
deborahjo Posted May 29, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 29, 2008 This is the same port the Splendor is going out of is it not.
mek Posted May 29, 2008 #5 Share Posted May 29, 2008 Just be aware that the baggage check in is out by the garage and not at the QM, so drop your bags off first before going to the check in.

Ykgorbie Posted May 30, 2008 #8 Share Posted May 30, 2008 As it was our very first cruise (Sept.07), we just decided to stay on the Queen Mary, mainly because of the early check-in and the proximity to the embarkation area. It was lovely. The Queen Mary is a bit older, but has remarkable memoribilia and tours...their restaurants were excellent. Our early check in was great - we were on the Lido deck by 12:20pm.
