Okay, I'm thinking of upgrading. Right now I'm on Verandah, deck 8, midship, inside. Do I want to stay there or move to one of the following?

Panorama, deck 10, right behind stairs, inside

Spa, deck 11, across from elevators, balcony

Lido, deck 9, next to stairs, inside

Main, deck 2, mid/front ship, ocean view

my main concern is movement, and noise late at night, and value for my money

Inside and ocean view rooms are alittle less than what I paid.

Balcony is $352 more.

I need to make a decision ASAP

Hey we are on the same cruise! Awesome! We booked on the main deck. I've never been on the Triumph so I hope its nice. I'm like you are I don't want to be up top, I want to sleep when its time to sleep.

My husband want to stay midship (decks 6-9) in the middle. So the main deck w/balcony is out. He'd rather be on deck 8 w/inside room.

A roll call thread is started. Go to Carnival roll calls then to roll call Triumph, then to 12-07-08.

I have done many TBA [gty] cabins and never checked to see where they were until embarkation. Never had one that was a problem. IMHO you are fretting over nothing.

Sounds as tho' you are really happy with the cabin you have...:)

Personally, with your husband's wishes in mind, I'd keep the cabin you have now..:D

Balconies are great, but if there is a lot of $$$ involved to upgrade, the inside, will be fine.. I'd prefer a porthole, at least, but that's just me..;)

Have a GREAT cruise... DW and I were married in Ocho Rios while sailing on the Triumph in 2004!:p Great ship...
