Host Jacquelyn Posted December 15, 2008 #35 Share Posted December 15, 2008 OMG I am laughing at ALL of these cause they are all so true! When your 4 year old brings home a class book that says "Jimmy likes Candy. Suzy likes puppies. Mary likes Kittens. GABRIELLA LIKES CRUISE SHIPS!" :D I love it!! I can totally relate

provenienbam Posted December 22, 2008 #37 Share Posted December 22, 2008 You know your kid is a cruiser when....she refuses to get of the ship until you've triple-promised-stick-a-needle-in-your-eye that we'll book another cruise as soon as we get home. Drew B Posted December 24, 2008 #41 Share Posted December 24, 2008 How about when your 3-year-old is on his first cruise (which happened to be a back-to-back) says, "Mommy, when we get home, I'm going to look for money so we can go on a cawooze (cruise) for FWEE (three) weeks next time! lovetheislands Posted January 4, 2009 #43 Share Posted January 4, 2009 When you are surfing the net to book the winter break cruise and DD9 pipes up to make sure it is a "7 night" - apparently she no longer does 3 or 4! S.S. Cruisers Posted January 4, 2009 #44 Share Posted January 4, 2009 When the five year old is in the other room and we can hear the sound of a ship's fog horn coming from his replica ship? Or, we can hear the carnival DVD playing on his TV. :o Or he says, "Where's that Carnival Cruise Ship at?" I guess he thinks it shoud pick us up at home! I agree with that. :D

AngelOfDistress Posted January 6, 2009 #46 Share Posted January 6, 2009 I know my 3½ yo son is a cruise addict when everytime we see the top of the Montreal Olympic Stadium from a distance, he always thinks it's a cruise ship funnel and he wants to go on the ship NOW!
brenderlou Posted January 6, 2009 #47 Share Posted January 6, 2009 .....after you make the mistake of telling your 4 yr old daughter you booked another cruise she asks you every morning when she wakes up if it's a cruise day.
2Cruise4Ever Posted January 6, 2009 #48 Share Posted January 6, 2009 When the kids absolutely REFUSE to leave the ship until a deposit is put down on another one. Or, when they INSIST every weekend to watch the ship come in and leave on the port web cams on line. Or, when they tell DH and I to be quiet because they can't hear Samantha Brown talking about her latest cruise. The best one yet: The other morning (we just booked another cruise BTW), on our way to day care my DD (5yo) says, "Mommy, will we be there RIGHT when the Kids Crew opens this morning???? I want to play in the ball pit!"
Cruise_baby Posted January 7, 2009 #49 Share Posted January 7, 2009 I know my 3½ yo son is a cruise addict when everytime we see the top of the Montreal Olympic Stadium from a distance, he always thinks it's a cruise ship funnel and he wants to go on the ship NOW! That is so funny! I am from Montreal and never thought of that. Very original! I knew my DDs were cruise addicts when we got off the NCL Gem and they said that this vacation was better than Disney World. WineDown17 Posted January 7, 2009 #50 Share Posted January 7, 2009 3 years after his first cruise, he still talks about our waiter- by name, has tried to find a way to email him, and often comments how sad it must be for him to leave his family at home for so long. He recently wanted me to call Celebrity and see if he might be on our next sailing..
