Have not tried the sims on any ship.

I had a happy birthday today. First I hit a penny slot for $300+ and then hit a quarter slot with a 7 - 12X -12X for $3600.

It was a good birthday.

Smooth waters and mostly sunny today. Sea day tomorrow and then the last day of the 2nd leg in Valparaiso.

it's going much too fast.

Happy Birthday Paul, the winnings will pay for your sea pass account:D!!!!

A belated Happy Birthday, and congrats on your nice casino win. As someone else said, your onboard bill has just been reduced. I check in on this thread and on Judy's blog everyday, as well as checking where the Mariner is. The next leg is upon you, and way too soon, the end of your fantastic voyage!!!

60 people with pneumonia? That's a little alarming...especially in an older group on this sailing. On Grandeur in November, we had rough seas and 3 broken hips. People have the time, but I guess medical care is also a consideration. :o

Good grief. As a cancer patient 60 pax with pneumonia is enough to do me in.

I really wanted to do this cruise but I just couldn't. :)

I hope everyone is well. :):):)

We made a stop today in Santiago for Dave and Rick to get supplies for their ladies.

We didn't come on vacation to get sick

Well yes Nancy, that is why I find it a little alarming. You reported it so matter of factly. Pneumonia can be very serious in an older group, and those with compromised immune systems. I think it would be kind of scary to be shipboard with a serious illness. Efficient medical care or not.

That is probably a very good idea! :)

Sweetie,

You are my friend on CC. Are you on the Around the Horn cruise?

If you are, I hope you are well. :)

No we're not. I wish we were, we have a lot of friends onboard as well. Actually the cost of the last leg to California was very reasonable. It is the time off of work that is a problem. Work really cuts into our leisure time. LOL .:D

Edit: I think you have to invite me to be your friend Nancy. Mine still says friendship requested (of you):)

Glad you made it and I wish you good health. Have a great cruise.

Had great weather here today..........it was sunny and got to 41 degrees. After a brief cold spell for three days it will be back up into the 40s starting next Friday and lasting at least 3 days.

If you have a chance, could you please describe how this worked and what machine you were on? I love playing the slot machines but don't remember seeing thid kind of option.

I sure hope those with colds and pnemonia get better soon. My husband doesn't want to cruise anymore because of that reason and I have to travel with girl friends.
