Differences between Coral and Island Princess

I have booked an Alaskan cruise on the Island Princess for next June and in my search for pictures of the ship I seem to find many more pictures of the Coral Princess than the Island Princess. I know that the layout is essentially the same for both ships but I was wondering if there was a big difference in decor and ambiance or can I look at the pictures of the Coral Princess interiors and know that it is very similar to the Island? I am looking forward to trying this class of ship as I really like the Sea Princess and find the Grand Class ships to be too large.

They are identical and built at the same specs in France, (couple years apart) however the Island had the Santuary added in a wet dock in May at San Pedro. :)

Beyond the differently-themed casinos and the Island's new Sanctuary, everything is pretty much the same. Carpeting might be different with the Island favoring blue and the Coral favoring...well coral tones. You can't go wrong with either ship.

It may not make any sense but I loved Coral and hate Island:confused:

Thanks for the replies. I figured that looking at pictures of the Coral would be pretty much the same as the Island. I just wanted to ask to make sure before I directed my brother and his wife, who are joining us for their first Princess cruise to any sites with pictures.
