Adding second passenger 2 weeks prior to cruise?

One of the members of our group booked as a single? We are two weeks from sailing and he would like to add a guest. Does princess allow a 2nd passenger to be added to the booking this late in the game?

Yes, they will just need to pay the difference in price between a single and a double which is very minimal. That is assuming they remain in the same cabin that the single was booked in and do not try to change cabins.

You need to contact your TA (or Princess if booked direct) asap.

Another issue is that cruise ships have a passenger limit; if enough other cabins have three or four passengers, there may not be "room" for another passenger on board.

We have done this within 1 week of sailing! It was very easy. TA handled it and cost was minimal.

As long as they do not have a capacity maximum that has been reached, it is very easy to add a second person to a cabin. Make sure that person fills out their online registration ASAP though.

If you have a spare berth in a two berth cabin then they will not have reached maximum capacity no matter how many three/four berths are taken. It should be a painless process through your TA or Princess if you booked direct.
