CLC22 Posted January 4, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2009 One of the members of our group booked as a single? We are two weeks from sailing and he would like to add a guest. Does princess allow a 2nd passenger to be added to the booking this late in the game? Thanks!!
ej22ndrow Posted January 4, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2009 Yes, they will just need to pay the difference in price between a single and a double which is very minimal. That is assuming they remain in the same cabin that the single was booked in and do not try to change cabins.
paul929207 Posted January 5, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 5, 2009 You need to contact your TA (or Princess if booked direct) asap.
Andee Posted January 5, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 5, 2009 Another issue is that cruise ships have a passenger limit; if enough other cabins have three or four passengers, there may not be "room" for another passenger on board.
raydon Posted January 5, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 5, 2009 We have done this within 1 week of sailing! It was very easy. TA handled it and cost was minimal. Donna
DrivesLikeMario Posted January 5, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 5, 2009 As long as they do not have a capacity maximum that has been reached, it is very easy to add a second person to a cabin. Make sure that person fills out their online registration ASAP though.
billet Posted January 5, 2009 #7 Share Posted January 5, 2009 If you have a spare berth in a two berth cabin then they will not have reached maximum capacity no matter how many three/four berths are taken. It should be a painless process through your TA or Princess if you booked direct.
Colo Cruiser Posted January 5, 2009 #8 Share Posted January 5, 2009 Should not be a problem.
