what is a MUTS?
MUTS = Movies Under the Stars, a giant LCD screen built into the funnel that shows movies, concerts, sporting events, etc. It is very loud and intrusive if you are in the area but don't have an interest in what's playing. For instance, if you want to have your lunch and sit at the tables set up outside the buffet, there might be a WII contest going, making any conversation impossible.

On our European cruise I only seen guitar hero in the evenings. During the day they seem to run music videos, various mainstream or oldie movies. Then of course the MUTs main attraction after dinner. Probably the caribbean cruise beats to a different theme and others can share that experience.

No question if you are in the center area it is loud, but the ship is so large you can always retire to either forward or aft of the center if you want a little peace and quiet ;)

I heard that the Pacific Princess occasionally has MUTS. Has anyone been on her recently (during the last few months)?

From what I understand, they setup a screen on the pool deck and have a projector that displays the movies. I'm sure someone else who has experienced it can provide more info...
