I am currently on the VOLENDAM and the first thing I noticed was the reconfiguring of the shops on board. They have added one and make one quite bigger. They are much better lit.

I hope the casino on the Amsterdam is not being enlarged like the one on Maasdam was recently.

 

On Maasdam, most of the seating in the Sports Bar was removed and more (generally unused) slot machines were added. The change basically created more wasted space and removed a useful room. <sigh>

 

I did enjoy watching some (American) football games in the sports bar on the Amsterdam in the past.

Slight delay on the pics... we had an unexpected tour of a lot of behind the scenes stuff and my camera completely died so I need to get a good recharge going on my camera before I can upload anything.
