Which Alaskan beer will I like?

I really like Alaskan Amber, but at the Alaskan Brewery in Juneau, I also tried several others. You might like their "white". They also have a "Summer Ale", which is pretty light. I thought their oatmeal stout was also excellent, but it's a much darker richer flavor - but oh so smooth. :)

Also the Glacier Brewhouse in Anchorage makes really excellent beers, and a large variety. I thought their amber was as good as Alaskan Amber, and maybe even a little better.

There's no hope for you if you really like Corona. But, if you do, the Alaskan Amber might be fine. I prefer a "heartier" brew. Loved the Moose Tooth; but, it is probably not available everywhere. Alaskan Brewing makes a number of lighter versions. Try them all. We both thought that their amber tasted like Coors Lite with brown food coloring added.

Kokanee is brewed here in BC and sometimes is available in stores on the border in WA state but not sure about Alaska. It is a very crisp beer and I quite like it cold in the summer...I am no longer a big beer drinker but I have a dozen in the fridge right now in the event guests drop in.;)

I HATE Coors lite- or any other lite beer- but I really liked Alaskan Amber- and oh yeah, I like Corona too!:p
