I posted this on the roll call too (sorry for the dup):

Wasn't planning on popping online in the middle of my packing frenzy - but I just learned that we're in for a cosmic treat during our crossing: the Leonid Meteor shower! It will be at its peak overnight November 17th/18th.

It's supposed to be super spectacular this year and with no moon, will be fully visible.

Warren (yeah, I'm a dork)

warren,

thanks for the update, you are not a dork. my partner is very much up on all things celestial and weather related.

Hi all.

We are currently in seville and catching the train a day early to Malaga. The suggestion to catch the train down to the costA del sol sounds like a great idea. The weather looks great for the weekend and sailaway Monday. Only 3 more sleeps!

Does Carla have a few new jokes to tell?

I hope some has some jokes to tell. I've known geoff 25+ years and he has only ever had 3 jokes in all that time. (and boy am I sick of them!)

At his age he can now only remember one of them, which can't be told in mixed company. So any new jokes will be well and truly welcomed.

Boy was that a rough night.

We had a little wind damage but only minor.

Still a bit windy up on the hill so will use the day to get the apartment in shape and finish packing.

Enjoy your day.:)

Couldn't agree more. One windy night.

Did you have the beans Jack did?

  • 2 weeks later...

Lori and I are waiting at the Fort Lauderdale airport. I'm guessing everyone had the same lines to get off the ship this morning, but hopefully no one missed any travel connection. I imagine Graham and Paul are happily shopping at Sawgrass Mills.

Safe travels to all.

David
