herm Posted December 30, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2004 Just want to say hi. The cruise is great so far. I was a little worried with all the negative reviews. If you have any questions I should be on for a little while.

rgreenpc Posted December 30, 2004 #5 Share Posted December 30, 2004 Hope the sunburn isn't too bad... have something cool to drink... The spa has some treatments to help with the burn if it is too bad ( if I remember correctly from their little presentation )
gymbrat33 Posted December 30, 2004 #6 Share Posted December 30, 2004 I've sailed on the Glory. It is beautiful ship and the service was excellent. I'm glad that you're having a great time. Forget about us for now and enjoy the cruise!
stan wood Posted December 30, 2004 #7 Share Posted December 30, 2004 Were you in St. Martin yesterday? If so, any advice on renting a car? Were they easily accessible at the port? Thanks. We'll be there on January 12th and we're considering renting and touring the island by ourself.
gymbrat33 Posted December 30, 2004 #8 Share Posted December 30, 2004 I meant on the Victory.
jordanaire Posted December 31, 2004 #9 Share Posted December 31, 2004 Some "internal" medication, such as a Miami Vice, a Pina Colada or a Mango Tango, will help ease that sunburn! Glad you're having a great time aboard the "Victory". We will be sailing on her in just 92 more days! Enjoy the rest of your cruise! Bill

We'll be there on January 12th and we're considering renting and touring the island by ourself. When I cruised 11/28, I rented a car in St Maarten, and also in St thomas. I would not do it any other way. It is the best way to see the island and do what you want. I would highly recommend using Arthur's Car rental http://www.arthurscarrental.com/newfile4.html He was great, he will pick you up at the docks. Price was great also.
