  1. Eurovision has been reported with some controversies, so maybe not pushing it on the ship. It is on ship's TV . In US it's on Peacock a paid streaming service.
  2. We did alot of roaming, distance walking, climbing steps, traversing uneven walkways, snorkeling etc, We def took more physically active excursions, when we were younger. . . Although we are still in fair shape now, we are def a bit lazier We have less energy/desire to "go go go", and prefer less physically active experiences. Half a day exploring is perfect with a return to A/C and a cold drink afterward!
  3. OP Sorry for your loss. I hope you enjoy the cruise with loved ones around you to share memories, and create new ones . Always nice to get "on line" opinions but in this circumstance, and without having a trvl agent, it sounds like you should communicate with Celebrity and the cruise insurer (in case coverage can be applied). It's just finances and paperwork now that you have chosen to cruise.
  4. Would be fun but we stick closer to home these days for our adventures! That's why I enjoy all these "live from" reviews so much! We enjoyed Hawaii but it felt so far away and remote.... We prefer Carib ports which are a short flight from home if an emergency arises.
  5. we always use a porter..they gather the luggage and smooth the way out either to taxi, your van ..etc Our last porter wheeled everything to our car up in the parking lot for ASCENT. and loaded the luggage. He was great! Def beg for earliest tag..your case was a med emergency not just someone who needs the wheelchair. Time is of the essence to get home!
  6. not sure..but I'd get to the wheelchair area on 5 as early as possible..with your stuff. Husb can grab some buns/ coffee from Cafe baccio..and bring it to you. We have observed many wheelchairs lined up for the escort off early on!
  7. you are planning ahead best you can so all should be well! bthrm floors..= hazard zone. my friend's fall was on a recently mopped wet bthrm floor at the golf club....no sign or warning!
  8. Once you get home you will probably be mostly off your feet except for dr visits and bathroom/ showers.. So hope a good plan gets you home safely. My friend slipped and fell at her golf clubhouse, suffered a bad ankle break, and had to stay off her feet with the broken ankle area raised above her heart. Long ordeal and recovery but she got through it, had surgery, and rehab and is now walking and golfing again!
  9. Any pics of the dress up? Sounds like fun Congrats on the new booking!
  10. Agree it was a great tour other than the worms! I have issue with heights so would not have done well at several points along the way!
  11. small bar..drinks, coffee and water. no snacks
  12. Popular ships for charters are always a rusky booking! But would rather lose the cruise than sail with a large group we are not part of. on board!
  13. totally awesome! things just popping here on LI...NY
