I see that about 10 excursions are avail for GSC.

2 of which are additional guests for cabanas.

But nothing for an actual cabana

does that mean they are already all booked?

Could be but make sure that you go right to the Shore Excursion desk when you board because it is my understanding that they don't sell all of them online (and someone may cancel).

It's just the clamshell s that can't be booked in advance. The cabanas can be

I would call. I wanted one for my cruise and website didn't show any large ones available. But when I called she did have one and I was able to book it.

It's possible but since you're a year out, I would call and double check, sounds like it might be a glitch. They are SO worth it.

Being a year out actually may be the reason, they may not even go on sale until 6 months before the cruise.

It seems prices vary, depending on what ship you are on.

On the form (in post#7), it shows a small cabana(up to 6 people) for $349.00

For our upcoming NCL Sky cruise, we paid $199. on the NCL website.

If you look at the excursions without logging in to MyNCL it will show you the starting rate for the cabanas and it says that the price will vary by sailing. If you have a cruise booked and log in to MyNCL it will show you the price for your sailing. My small cabana was $299 in May on the Gem.

You'll get this onboard. I'd call though. But I don't think I was able to book the cabana until 6 months before sailing.

Hopefully this helps.

Thank you so much for posting the shore excursion form! I'd seen it somewhere a couple of days ago and was kicking myself for not saving it. :)

My cruise was a year ago exactly, but I definitely booked my cabana more than 6 months out. They were sold out 6 months before the cruise. This was when there were only large cabanas, and they only cost $199 (and we missed GSC, so I never got to use it).
