Is 10:15 too early of a flight out of Seattle? Ship is Celebrity Solstice if that matters.

If you are arriving Mon to Fri 10:15 is to early . The airport is about an hour away from the pier . You have to cross Seattle North to South during morning rush hour . If you self dis embark in the first group and grab a taxi you might make it . SeaTac security can be a mad house first thing in the morning . What time does Celebrity recommend for Seattle.

Far too tight.

Celebrity generally uses Pier 91 which is about 5 miles north of the downtown core. It's about a 30 minute drive to SeaTac from either pier, but you should allow 1 hour due to tunnel/road construction, city events, sports events, the usual traffic congestion, etc.

SeaTac is extremely busy on summer weekends, especially when several thousand cruise passengers are coming/going at the same time frame. For that reason you should be AT the airport 2 hrs prior to the flight.

Therefore in order to make a 10:15am flight, you need to guarantee that your taxi is pulling away from the pier by 7:30am at the latest. Way too close for my comfort zone. What would it cost if you missed that flight?

10:15 AM is too early.

Book something closer to Noon.

I agree way too early, I always thought the rule of thumb is to book flights after 12 noon.
