Best way from Miami Airport to Port of Miami

Cruising tomorrow! :) Wanted to know the best way to go from Miami Airport to the port of miami? Taxi or shuttle or through the cruise line? Which way is the cheapest? Just 2 people. Also, want time is the earliest we can arrive? Port departure is at 4PM.

Take a taxi...flat rate of $24. it is about 8 miles to the POM

You can arrive anytime you want but you may not be able to board until noon you should be there before 2:30 at the latest...

Definitely CAB! Quick and efficient. No waiting around for other passengers to fill a shuttle.

After you get your luggage, go outside to the taxi stand--no problem!

I had thought about doing the shuttle but then decided for 3 of us to share a cab would probably be faster and cheaper! So thanks for asking the question and all of the responses.

With this being 2015, what is the best way to get from Miami International to Port of Miami? I was thinking either cab or Uber, but I'm getting conflicting rates. So, what is the best/cheapest way to get from MIA to POM? Any suggestions?

where this topic is discussed daily, the cheapest way is taxi, at a fixed rate of $24. Exception if you are a solo traveler. Uber is having issues getting allowed into ports and airports in Florida.
