Playa Cas Abou Beach - Snorkeling?

There are a few decent snorkeling beaches all the way out towards Westpunt. But this time of year we have found many of these beaches pretty deserted with even the rest rooms (where they exist) locked. We have found decent snorkeling off Little Knip Beach and also at Jerimi Beach (reef not as good as Knip..but we saw interesting fish). Probably the best known snorkeling spot is called Tugboat....which unfortunately is towards the east end on the opposite side of the island from Knip and Jerimi. I want to emphasize that if you are a bit off season and on a weekday you may find nothing open at any of these beaches and could possibly be the only folks. There are many folks that think it makes sense to leave nothing in your car and leave the doors unlocked and even a window open. This avoids having a broken window if a thief happens to come along why you are in the water.
