NY, NJ or Boston?

Looking at a Canada Fall Foliage Cruise. Some leave out of NY some out of NJ and still others out of Boston.

Looking for the easiest to get from airport to cruise ship. Any suggestions/recommendations

are appreciated.

You can see the airport from the Boston cruise terminal. Across water, so you have to take a subway or a taxi, but they are darn close.

Check google maps. Put in the airport and the cruise terminal(s) for each option to see what your distances and difficulties are.

Boston wins hands down - Black Falcon is very close to Logan. Additionally, Boston is about a day's sail closer to Canada than New York - which remains the most dramatic sail-away port. New Jersey is just New Jersey - closer to Newark airport than Manhattan is to La Guardia, but the sailaway will miss the magic.

When you price out your cruise, don't forget to factor in the cost of hotel rooms in addition to the cruise price and the cost of getting to the cruiseport. Boston hotel rooms are super expensive and the less expensive places are not close to the port or in the city.

I've seen a lot of posts from folks who booked a cruise and bought airfare and then went into sticker shock when they went to book a hotel.

Another consideration is that a lot of the Boston cruises tend to be 7 days one way, whereas the ones from NY/NJ tend to be round trip.
