Lisbon Question

We will be arriving in Lisbon on September 14th on Celebrity Eclipse,due in at 12noonand leaving at 7pm.

Is it possible to walk from the port into the main area or can we get an Uber cab?

Has anyone any suggestions?

The answer to your walking query will depend on where you are docking. It is very easy and economical to utilize public transportation in Lisbon - we used the trams.

Lisbon has lots of steep hills. Get to the top of one using tram or metro and walk back down.

I would never take an Uber anywhere, far too many concerns about their operations in the UK for me to trust I will actually be insured.

It does depend where you are docked.

From one of the ports it's a 5 minute walk.

From the most distant one about a 30 minute walks.

I am not sure about Uber but there will be several taxis if you need one.

If it lists Port of Portugal, does that mean that is the port closest to the city centre?
