Luggage Tag Holders

I use the Zip Lock Ties instead of the plastic ones because they seemed to loosen up, however I didn't put the ties thru both holes only the one which allowed me to pull out and change the Tags for our b2b.

I think I may do this as well. I could see how the plastic ties that came with the tags might come loose.

I printed off luggage tags last night and folded right on the printed lines, and it slips right into the clear holder nicely, but with a very secure fit. No chance of it sliding out.

Those luggage tags are great!!! I buy them for all my clients. If you are sailing on another cruiseline other than Royal or Celebrity you will need the larger size ones.

Yes, and they do sell the different sizes for other cruiselines on Amazon.

Unless someone takes your well marked bag by mistake - which happened to us on the last cruise. What a pain in the you know what!

I actually did that once. I flew into Fairbanks arriving at about 1:00 AM. I have a slightly unusual bag so I did not check the luggage tag when I picked it up. When I opened it in my room, it was not mine. It also did not have any ID on or in the bag - nada, nothing.

Things got sorted out the next day and I am not sure if it was my fault for taking his bag or his fault for taking mine but it was short term annoying and worrying.

We had engaged the help of a porter, and he had the idea that someone had taken our bag because it looked like theirs, so we looked and found a very close match to ours. Luckily, the bag had a phone number which we called, and double luckily, they were locals from Melbourne who had our bag. They came back to the port and we exchanged. Cost us about an hour, which I thought was incredible, considering what it could have been.

Had the exact same thing happen to us departing Adventure out of San Juan. We were some of the last ones off the ship, because we had booked a post cruise 1 night stay in San Juan before heading home. First and only time we have done this. I think it was around 11 a.m. when we finally walked off, and there were very few bags left. Once of mine was missing, but there was one very similar to mine remaining. The port staff assisted us as well, and we wound up calling the phone number on the tag of the bag that looked similar to mine. Thankfully, the person discovered it was not their bag when they checked in at the airport, and turned it over to an RCI rep!

RCI wound up delivering my bag to the hotel at 9 p.m. Couldn't believe how fortunate we were. Ever since this little "adventure" (no pun intended), we tape brightly colored duct tape to both the handles on the suitcase. Haven't had a repeat situation since then. My bags aren't all that attractive looking anymore, but I can spot them a mile away ;)

I bought the large ones to begin with so I'm ready for any line.

We have name/address tags on our baggage + I laminate the cruise line baggage tags, and punch a hole in each end, then wrap it around the handle and tie it with a plastic zip tie, works great, and don't have to keep track of tag holders!!

On the name/address tag I have our TA business card on one side, with her information and address, on the other side, I have my name. This way it doesn't give the address of an empty residence. :D

In 30 cruises, we've never lost a thing, through checked baggage ;)

Love this idea! I was trying to figure out a good way to attach our tags for our upcoming cruise in a week and didn't think I had time to order any tags. I love the idea of laminating. Going to try this and hope it works for us as well as it does for you!

If you can adjust your printer to a narrow print, you can easely fit 3 tags into 1 letter size pouch :D
