SnorkelBear Posted September 14, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2006 I read a lot about this Doc Dance. My Docs should be arriving soon and I want to get it right. Can anyone write me a mental picture of this very symbolic dance? Pictures would be even more helpful. Please help. I am afflicted with two right feet and a left handed coffee mug. debjo Posted September 14, 2006 #5 Share Posted September 14, 2006 And don't forget...there's that never ending smile that spreads from ear to ear as you hold those documents in the air waving your arms about...your heart also beats a bit faster and you might be able to feel the sway of the ship if you close your eyes! jhannah Posted September 14, 2006 #6 Share Posted September 14, 2006 Since I like to pick my docs up at my brick-and-mortar TA, I do my doc dance while driving back home. I place my pleather doc wallet on the seat beside me, and buckle it in so it doesn't slide around. I reach over and pat it from time to time so it will know how loved it is. I gingerly weave in and out of traffic (don't get excited, Copper 10-8!!) while smiling from ear to ear. At that time, the doc dance is remarkable because the Las Vegas traffic doesn't torque my wrench! ;) If someone cuts me off, I just grin and continue whistling along with the radio or CD. When I arrive home, I lovingly massage the pleather wallet with a little Armor-All to protect it from what will soon be repeated opening and closing to peruse its contents. Ahhhh. Love the doc dance! Krazy Kruizers Posted September 14, 2006 #8 Share Posted September 14, 2006 Just remember that when your documents do arrive -- make certain that you don't dance so loud your neighbors call the police -- you'll be having one big party then. SnorkelBear Posted September 14, 2006 Author #12 Share Posted September 14, 2006 Anyone else hear Donna Summers echoing in their head. Hammy, I think that version would be best performed on roller skates.
