St. Maarten

Are there any catamaran sails leaving St. Maarten that will dock directly on the beach,instead of having you swim from the boat to shore?

None that I am aware of, but the better place for your research is the St Maarten board. Can't give you the link right now, but someone else will shortly, I'm sure.

This happens on quite a few excursions (when there is no dock/pier)

On the Golden Eagle shore excursion (offered by many cruise lines) your beach stop is close enough not to have to swim but you do need walk in the water from the cat to the shore. Not a problem. :)

The OP is talking about when excursion sails to a beach area for swimming and snorkeling. We have been on a few of these where the ship anchors or ties to a preset mooring 25 to 50 yards off shore, and you can swim or perhaps walk to shore for beach time. It's fun.
