IPOD Docking Station

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a docking station - I think that's what is called - in the cabins on the Allure. We cruise on her about 2 years ago and I thought there was. We have a ocean view balcony cabin. We enjoy having music and was wondering if I should bring a small speaker.

Not sure about Allure but I've never seen one anywhere onboard the other ships. Given the propensity for Apple's constant changing of charging formats, this would be rather expensive for the cruise industry to have them.

Some of the ships use to have docking stations for your iPhone when the wide 30 pin plug was the standard.

Allure has clock radios with an iPhone/iPod docking station. They were installed on the ship when constructed in 2009. Another words, it is really only compatible with devices long retired. ;)

Previous responses are correct, there is a clock radio with an Apple 30 pin connector.

We took along a Lightning to 30 pin converter similar to the one below which worked well:
