Embarkation arrival time. NY

Can anyone tell me what time we should plan on getting to the terminal? We are leaving from NY on the Breakaway. Thanks!

Regardless of port or ship, I'd recommend arriving anywhere between 10am and 1pm for stress free (time wise) embarkation.

10 to 10:30 will have you enjoying a nice mdr lunch by noon give or take

They probably will start boarding around 11:30 so I would arrive around 11:00.

We usually plan to arrive between 10 and 11.

.....I try to get to the port between 10:00-10:30 am. On my first cruise out of New York, we were one of the first people on the ship. Then it seemed to slow down after a while. We found out later that the computers went down and everything had to be done by hand.

Better to be early and get on than have to wait in an uncomfortable if things go awry.

Are you driving and parking at the pier? If so I would lean earlier like 10 - 10:30.

I like to arrive around 1pm or so. Yes, my vacation starts a few hours later. But, I'm usually curbside to cabin in under 20 minutes.

Boarding begins approx 11:30 on Sundays for Breakaway.

If weather not so good, if you have a balcony, watch sailaway from there. If not, go to deck 8 all the way to the back of the ship. Along the sides of deck 8 , both starboard and port side, there are many comfortable wicker chairs to sit that will be under cover from the elements.
