Are golf carts allowed on Puerto Vallarta Malecon?

If it is legal to ride a golf cart on the malecon, does anyone know of a golf cart rental place nearby?

No as far as I know golfcarts arenot allowed on the Malecon. You hardly see them in Vallarta, I certainly would not feel safe to drive one in this busy traffic. As cabs are cheap and also there are plenty of buses better use them.

I have never seen one on the Malecon nor could I even imagine it :eek:

I was under the impression that the Melacon was a pedestrian path along the beach from Hotel Rosita for a little over a mile and that did not allow auto traffic.

We were there last week and didn't see any golf carts, but there were A LOT of the three-wheel 'mobility' scooters cruising up and down the Malecon.
