transportation fll to mia late arrival

I am having no luck finding a ride to Downtown Miami from FLL due to the fact we are arriving after 9 pm.All of the shuttle services stop service after 8 pm except for goshuttle.Are there any alternatives?

There are car services too such as QLS and Larry's Limo. If all else fails, can you stay in the FLL area and go to Miami the next day??

A little reading on this board will see the common recommendation to stay in the FLL area, and get a shuttle to Miami the next day.

What about a cab? I'm gonna end up doing the same thing. The airfare to FLL is cheaper than into MIA, more convenient and free luggage, even factoring in the cab fare to Miami.

Cab, on the meter, depending slightly on traffic and where your hotel is located will run about $80+ for the 40 or so minute drive.

Like others have said, if you have not paid for your Miami hotel, you could look into a Fort Lauderdale hotel for the night and then shuttle in the morning.

Or just take a cab. You figure the shuttle service will run $35 w/ tip for 2 people. A cab from FLL to downtown Miami probably run you $75 w/ tip w/ the lighter traffic at night. If you have 3 or 4 people, it obviously becomes an even more attractive option.

From FLL to Miami we one time used town car service from Go airport -- about $75 plus tip. Holland Limo is often suggested for FLL service and Larry's limos is often suggested for Miami service. Good luck! :)
