packer report Posted October 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2016 When describing cabins most cruise lines indicate that 3 can fit in a cabin. I have 3 tall adult kids. My son is 6'5", will he fit on the sofas they show in the pictures? I know some are just sofas & some have sofa beds but those are hard to find. klfrodo Posted October 26, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2016 will he fit? Yes Will he be comfortable? That's a complete different story I'm 5' 11" and 59 YO If the cruise is free, I can be comfortable. If I'm paying for it, I'm finding other alternatives. Quilting_Cruiser Posted October 26, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2016 (edited) What cruise line and what ship?? We're a tall family, and my daughter was fine on the sofa bed as a child but as an adult she wouldn't be. I'm 6'1" and I have yet to see a sofa bed on a cruise ship that I could possibly sleep on. But, I'm sure it depends on the cruise line and what kind of sofa or third bed they have... Edited October 26, 2016 by Quilting_Cruiser
Rare Essiesmom Posted October 27, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 27, 2016 Try a balcony on MSC. Their inside and OV quads have bunks, but the balconies for 3/4 have a foldout couch that is queen size and he could sleep corner to corner. EM
cb at sea Posted October 27, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 27, 2016 All of the sofa beds and pullman/bunks are regular sized twins. If you fit on a normal bed, you'll be fine.
