Other than booze, what costs extra on Anthem?

Never cruised RCI before. Looking at going on the anthem in January. Do ifly, bumper cars, etc cost extra?

Bumper cars are free. I believe you can get 1 minute per day in the iFly for free, and pay more if you want more time.

As far as I can tell so far, only Flowrider has a few

So, I see flow rider lessons for $69. Does this mean you can try it on your own and not pay for the lessons?

Lessons are optional and offered at certain times throughout the day. They close flowrider to only those paying for the lesson, which is usually limited to around 8 guests. You can do the flowrider as often as you like and there is no charge. However, there is often a line.

Ifly is complimentary once during your cruise. You get a 1 minute flying lesson. We were told they sometimes allow you to go standby near the end of the cruise and if someone doesn't show up you can go again in their place. Not sure of this is true. I recommend making an appointment since the time slots fill up.

Unless they have changed things, yes only once at no additional fee. We were on a 16 day on the Anthem and only permitted once. Didn't try and go again, since once was enough for us.

On Quantum, once you did your free lesson on iFly you could wait in the standby line and go over and over again. You still had to do the training each time.

You'll pay extra for some uncharge restaurants (La Passatiere, Izumi, Jamie's (so worth it) etc.), Flowrider lessons, arcade, shopping, drinks, photos, etc.

Ifly, Bumper cars, Trapeze school, flow Rider, Rock wall and North Star are free. Also free, Sea Plex Dog House, American Icon, Silk, Chic, the Grande (formal), Costal Kitchen (Suite only), Café Promenade, Sorrento's (pizza), Windjammer, Devinely Decadence and Café 270 .

 

Extra charge items, some drinks (special coffees, teas), alcohol drinks of all kinds, casino, bingo, shops, milkshakes (at Johnny Rockets), specialty restaurants (Jamie's Italian, Wonderland, Chops, Izumi, Chefs table), Michaels's Genuine Pub, and Johnny Rockets.

On ifly you have to book first session & do full safety briefing, after that they have a standby queue that you can join.

They normally only let you do one extra session a day & advise against doing it if youve had shoulder injury - especially dislocations

Has anyone tried to use royal replenish package for milkshake at johnnys? Is that allowable in plan.

Not allowed but as gold C&A member or above you get bogof on a milkshake.
