Restaurants French Quarter

Cruising on the Triumph in August. I think we settled on staying at the French Quarter Inn. What is a good restaurant suggestion for dinner the night before the cruise? We don't want overly expensive and we don't want a chain restaurant. We would like a place with Cajun/Creole/Seafood but also with some non seafood/ spicy options as one of us doesn't like seafood.

What do you guys recommend?

Have to agree, it is one of my favorite restaurants in New Orleans. The history is really neat and for those of you that don't like seafood, the beef brisket is to die for!! :)

I would recommend NOLA. Which is an emeril langassee restaurant. We drove from our Mobile cruise before going home just to go there. The appetizers and deserts are great. And the corn muffins I think.

Galatoire's is our absolute favorite restaurant!
