We were in cabin 1804 on the Freedom in March. The windows are FABULOUS!!!! Best view on the ship. We loved that you just did a quick trip down the stairs and you end up in the spa where you can use the sauna, steam room, and huge showers (for FREE). One level up is a huge area for sunbathing that nobody else ever goes to. Great quick access to the pool deck.

Only cons - a little more more movement than in the middle of the ship, so not great if you cannot handle this. Second, a long walk to the MDR each night.

I would love to stay on deck 12 on the Freedom again if possible.

Don't recall the number, but it was the balcony closest to the exit door. The cabin was nice, huge TV. The balcony was very small and quite noisy.

There is no balcony....but I don't see anything wrong with that location. If you need a 2nd bathroom in a hurry, the public restrooms are right around the corner!
