Great shot. Unusual for one to be sitting still - ours usually just hover. They might sit on the perch if it's a really windy day.

What a difference a couple days make! It's hard to believe this is March 4th in Houston:

We visited Epcot this week before the Flower and Garden Festival opened there on March 5 and Spring had sprung !!

We stayed at the Swan and Dolphin where you can walk to Epcot . The weather and flowers were amazing this week and we look forward to Spring for our friends in colder regions.

A little too soon for our hummingbirds to be here.

We have the same type of feeders.

And our hummingbirds will sit and drink and drink at times.

I just bought a Panasonic Lumix FZ200 as a lighter alternative to my DSLRs, to use when I'm walking around all day; it's just out of the box and I had a chance to take it out this morning to a duck pond.

Thank you, they were. It was an experiment this cruise to see how I liked leaving all the gear behind and just sticking with the GoPro and get some different perspectives. Not a lot of keepers but no regrets either.
