Hello CC Family! I hope all is well with you all. I've heard if you go to guest services then you can get a deck of playing cards with Carnival logo on it for free. Is this true? If so does anyone have a picture to share? Thanks in advance.

I haven't tries to get playing cards from Guest Services. However, the casino pay window sells the used cards for $1 per deck. I have done that plenty of times.

I've done this, though just once. I have never tried getting one through Guest Services.

Attached are two of the cards I got in the pack. I apologize for the quality of the image. Your cards may be different. Try not to stare at the backs for too long. :p

One of my cruise companions practically demanded them from guest services on the Fantasy in October 2014. They just had a few decks tucked in a drawer behind the counter. They definitely didn't have enough for everyone on the ship but they gave them to her when she asked. I'm not sure exactly why they have them there.

If they have some, they will gladly give you a pack. No questions asked.:D

This has been the practice as far back as I can remember. Other cruise lines too but some of them have stopped doing that.

Yes, you can get them at Guest Services. I always pick up at least 3 decks so that we can play "Golf" when there's a quite moment in our schedule. I've never been told that they didn't have any or that there was a limit as to how many decks you can get. And there's no charge for them!

On our last cruise (on the Breeze), we were part of a very large group, and one of the planned activities was a scavenger hunt. One of the items on the list was a deck of cards. I went to Guest Services and asked if by chance they had any playing cards. The young lady at the desk handed me two decks. They haven't been opened yet, so I could either use them as gifts or sell them on eBay. Looks like the going price is $3.00 - $5.00 per deck. Nah. I know a couple of family members that would love to have them, and Christmas isn't that far away. :)
