If Cunard reads CC, what would you like to tell them?

... and include QM2 going around Cape Horn again! :)

Thank goodness DH and I took the voyage around S.A. in 2009… I don't believe QM2 has taken that route since then…

We would go again. In a heartbeat. If it was offered. Our favorite sailing ever….

I can't imagine why NY to Caribbean voyages aren't still offered. Doesn't apply to us, but I can't see any shortage of people interested in that itinerary…

Cunard? Are you listening?

I would like two things from Cunard.

1. More travels that start from and end in US ports, not just the NY departures for TA's. I liked the Caribbean trips and Hawaii but maybe add Alaska or up the West Coast??

2. Fix or replace the reclining chairs in the Planetarium.

I would ask Cunard to clarify her "foggy" tipping policy! Tips are not included but taken every day on your board account; you can pay it.......or not; according to "ask cunard", tips are given only to your steward and waiters but if you decide to give directly tips to your steward and waiters......you are told that the "hidden" crew members won't get tips (!!!!!??????); tips are taken on your board account....but expected again by crew members on the last day of your trip.......... Please clarify this : not (only) for money but for sense and transparency!

I love Cunard, but I'm waiting for something as clear as Silversea's policy " tips are included and not expected".

I think that Cunard has taken care of some of this by including tips in some of the special offerings.

If you want to have the tips included in the original price you might find that people will stay away, despite the fact that the amount is relatively small. The majority of cruise ships do not "include" tips but add them as a "Hotel Charge" Cunard is not alone in this.

The "I will take care of the tips myself" is an old ruse for not really tipping.

PLEASE let's not take this path on this thread. (Sorry, I did.)

Sorry, I naively thought it was a free forum. As english is not my mother language, I probably didn't understand this thread purpose, I thought it was "what would you like to say to Cunard" and I artlessly said exactly what I wanted to say to Cunard. It appears to be a mistake and I want to apologize : I really didn't know that some subjects were totally forbidden on this forum.

Non, Al,

C'est moi qui a besoin de s'excuser. J'ai été en plaisantant.

I was only teasing you. Please do not let me discourage you.

Thank you Jayney. This photo was taken when my parents (accompanied by me) emigrated to Canada. The QM2 was berthed right next to our "boat" and for 55 years my cousins told everyone they knew that we were on the QM2.

Not so, we were on a converted troop ship and were in steerage on that one.

I started this thread and your advice to Cunard was exactly what I was looking for…

Your English is so much better than anything I try to say in French.

I am so glad you posted what you did.

Are you listening, Cunard?

Please, please find the clotted cream!

I couldn't agree more. Any pretense of being British without clotted cream is just a hopeless ruse.

This is a small (but important) request!

Are you listening Cunard?

Hello

I have sailed Cunard many times and reached Diamond level years ago.

I would like to tell Cunard that it would be nice to enhance reward levels, create levels beyond Diamond to add more perks. Such perks could include a further discount on laundry, free gratuities, an additional more exclusive cocktail party, additional internet time, free dinner in the Verandah restaurant, free wine package etc.

Such an enhanced level would encourage long time Cunard passengers to continue their patronage and not stray.

What do YOU think?
