What happened to Cha-Chi Beach

Marge, DW and SILs will be there in late April, I'll ask them to take a picture, as they are photo heavy on cruises. Hopefully we'll see a picture sooner.:( It's one of those places where when you look at that beach and the commercialized "beach" at the cruise port plus the rocky shore line there, you just wish you could get over there. But for many cruisers in the past few years seeing the destroyed palapas is their first view of CM and probably makes them think what kind of a place are we stopping at, let's not venture too far.

I think that's Mexican $ so more like US$2,140,000.00 (pocket change?:D)...cheaper than lots of homes in some places.

We will also be there on the 20th of February. I will try to remember to take a picture. We usually grab a taxi and head into town. We love the laid back quiet of there.

First time back in several years and no sign of life at Chac-Chi...

Yeah, unfortunately  (or fortunately) the guy won't sell to the cruise port and might be asking a pretty penny from others.  Would make a very nice beach for cruisers.  But the malecon would lose $$.
