Balcony for Canada

We have had a balcony for our Caribbean and Alaskan cruises but wonder if it is worth the extra almost $1000 when cruising New England and Canada. I am thinking a window would be "good enough."

Whether it's "good enough" for you is your choice. Is it good enough for me....no....regardless of my itinerary, my private outdoor quiet space is priceless. JMHO

We did this cruise September 26-October 4 and had a Vista Suite (balcony) on our HAL cruise from Quebec to Boston. We used the balcony five of the seven days. We were in Quebec one night after embarking and had a wonderful view of the Old City. While underway, the only days we weren't out there for any length of time was when it was raining. Well worth it!
