Liberty - What's going on?

The Liberty became available out of Galveston on Friday. We chose and booked our rooms for a family reunion in January 2016.

Now it is Monday and our bookings are gone. Has anyone else had this problem today or know what is going on?

The RCL agent on the phone is checking right now....

She said something about a travel agent cruise problem.....and then said it is indicating that it is an "invalid type of cruise".

Does anyone know what this means?

Liberty to Bayonne NJ.

No Liberty will be in Galveston as of Fall 2015.

After the Jan 3 2016 cruise nothing is even listed until the beginning of Feb of 2016.....not sure why.....Can't see 3 weeks of charters in a row....

Did you book direct or through an agent?

the Royal rep said "travel agent cruise problem? " uh, more like a deployment gremlin or IT issue....

Liberty goes from Bayonne to Galveston in November.

It is in Galveston November to January 10.

It then re-appears on February 7.

So, from January 10-Feb 6 it doesn't show anything.

I booked through Royal Caribbean.

Yeah, that's weird....she had her Royal Advantage upgrades in 2011....

Well....did they give you an answer??

They're not even showing dates...sometimes it will say N/A, but nothing there...Hmmm

If the last dry dock was 2011, then she would be due for dry dock again in 2016.

I would not worry about it.

They just added all those dates and are probably still getting finalized.

Plus, it is a very long way off from now, they will get it together.

Not sure why you booked this early, the prices are outrageous.

Hope they come down quite a bit...

I would much rather have a "middleman" deal with it than myself.

They will get the same results and I don't have to sit on hold with RC for 1.5 hours...

They just added all those dates and are probably still getting finalized.

We booked early for specific rooms. Hoping for price drops....;)

The website is quite inconsistent. Calling is a good idea, but if time permits, I'd give them a couple of days before panicking.

I looked at Jan 10, 2016 on Liberty and there is nothing showing up right now. Wonder why it keeps appearing and disappearing???

I wouldn't worry about it they will get it straightened out soon. Watch for those price drops.

That usually means the first revenue cruise for a new ship. I suppose it could mean the first cruise from a new port too.

I would much rather have a "middleman" deal with it than myself.

They will get the same results and I don't have to sit on hold with RC for 1.5 hours...

Not only does a TA deal with RC for us, she gets better service from RC than I would just picking up the phone.

But if you know someone by name in the RC office, that's a good way to make reservations as well.
