Adonia - problem?

Does anyone know why Adonia is still in Livorno? Should have been in Monaco today.

my son works on Adonia, we spoke to him yesterday, and he said that bad weather prevented them from sailing to Monaco, so the Captain decided to overnight in port.

Thanks for that. Hope she gets back to Southampton on time as we board then.

On Adonia as I write. Winds up to 45 knots in Livorno yesterday afternoon made it too dangerous for us to leave the harbour so we have had an overnighter in Livorno. Rain, hail, thunder and lightning this morning but pale sunshine now and winds have died down so we will be leaving for Tangiers at tea time. Disappointed to have missed Monaco but prefer to be safe!!! Apart from that and a lumpy B of B, most enjoyable cruise so far.

Glad you are enjoying yourself despite the weather pete. Hope it's all settled down a bit now. Looks as though you've made Tangier today - perhaps a bit warmer there!

Bay of Biscay? To be crossed on itineraries from the UK into the Med. Can be a bit rough in poor weather.

Nice day in La Coruna today and back on schedule so should be back bright and early on Sunday morning
