flowerofessex Posted May 26, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2015 Does anybody know which Terminal CELEBRITY CONSTELLATION is in, in Venice and how do you get to St Marks Square from the Terminal? Thanks
Rare Essiesmom Posted May 26, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 26, 2015 (edited) The Venice port schedule no longer lists which terminal the ships will use. If you ask on the Celebrity board here at CC, someone who has already been on her might be able to tell you where she docked. Do you want the scenic, the cheap, or the expensive way to get to Piazza San Marco? You can get lots of answers if you check out the Italy board under Ports of Call. This link might help you. Scroll down from the map to the How to Get to Piazza San Marco paragraph. http://www.italylogue.com/planning-a-trip/venice-cruise-terminal-where-it-is-how-to-get-there.html EM Edited May 26, 2015 by Essiesmom

flowerofessex Posted May 26, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted May 26, 2015 Many thanks Paul, how long is the walk?:)
morbihan Posted May 26, 2015 #6 Share Posted May 26, 2015 It is a very long walk. First you walk to the people mover which takes you to P. Roma and then it is a good forty minutes walking swiftly and not getting lost. You can catch the vaporetto from P Roma but although more scenic, takes longer than walking. Costs 7 euros each way. Or 7.50. I am often here so have a pass and the tickets are cheaper. I am biting the bullet and catching the alilaguna line from the port to P. St Marks. 8 euros for a single. Takes about 15-20 minutes. Well, I mean going to go to the port! Every half an hour. That will be me, smiling, Thursday:D
Rare Essiesmom Posted May 27, 2015 #7 Share Posted May 27, 2015 Connie is in Venice now, and docked at position/terminal 107. Presumably, that is where she will be for every visit. that is where we were on Silhouette two years ago. EM

Putterdude Posted May 27, 2015 #9 Share Posted May 27, 2015 We have always taken the people mover from the cruise terminal to Plaza Roma and as I recall it is 1e pp each way. At Plaza Roma you can purchase various passes be it a one way ticket, multiple rides or an all day pass. The one thing that you don't want to do is purchase the pass that you ship may offer, it is extremely expensive compared to the Vaporetto. http://europeforvisitors.com/venice/articles/venice-vaporetto-fares.htm
