Carnival just started (again) selling some steakhouse entrees in the regular MDRs.

Haven't seen the menus but have heard it is $20 to add a steakhouse entree to your MDR meal.

We are just off the Fantasy and there was no option to buy a steak in the main dining room. There is a flat-iron steak on the always-available menu, but I cannot imagine paying extra for it.

On Ecstasy they had rack of lamb, NY strip, surf & turf, filet. $20.00.

They are going to begin rolling this out to all ships without the steakhouse soon.

How do you find out which ships have it in place already?

seen a post today that said it started on 8/28/14 fleetwide... same options as mentioned above..20 bucks extra

Just got off of our Fantasy cruise yesterday, & they do offer steakhouse selections for a $20.00 fee. They offer the surf & turf, lobster, a 14oz. steak (which I had). It's listed on the left side of the dinner menu at the bottom in a square that lists the different things they offer.

It's better than nothing so it's good news to me BUT the atmosphere of the steak house is certainly missing. :rolleyes:

IIRC, those items used to be free.

As an update, the Dream last week offered some of the steakhouse selections (and some selections that were not available in the steakhouse, such as a 1.5lb whole Maine lobster) in the MDR for a $20.00 surcharge.
