Non-negotiables:

--Modern restrooms

--food & drinks

Prefer:

--Nice sandy beaches, not rocky, seaweedy

--Quieter beach (no need for inflatable beach toys, etc.)

Recommendation?

Any beach with nearby restrooms and food/drink will have lots of people. Seagrape has your non-negotiables...but like I said, that's what everyone wants...modern amenities! No rocks or seaweed....but seaweed is at the mercy of tides...that can happen anywhere!

Any beach with modern restrooms and food & drinks is not going to be peaceful, unless you're there on a day when there's no cruise ships in port. :-)

Any of the beach club sections along Seven Mile Beach will meet your other requirements, though.

Coe Wood Beach in Bodden Town.

Has restrooms and the Grape Tree Cafe for local fried fish and other grill options for Fridays-Sundays plus public holidays.

Quiet. Few cruise shippers travel out that far. Few tourists most days.

The beach is quite nice, though it gets rocky in the water quite close to shore.

No chair rentals. No watersports operators.
