Splendor & Guys Burgers

I love a good burger. I rarely eat beef, and I crave cheeseburgers. So when I finally get one, I want it to be everything I've been lusting after.

Other than my very first Guy's, they've been a disappointment. Like I said, I don't want it so charred that it's like eating a chunk of charcoal with cheese on a bun!

Charred is good. Burnt is not.

I felt the same way. It seemed like it would've been a great burger, but the two times I tried it is was too burnt to eat. I would rather it be undercooked than burnt

So far, we've only had Guy's on the Liberty but they were awesome! We'll be on the Elation later this year and it will have Guy's and DW and I are both really looking forward to it. Also REALLY looking forward to breakfast burritos at Blue Iguana!

Had Guy's on the Breeze last summer. It was cooked to almost perfection...maybe 60 seconds too long but nowhere close to being charred or burnt. The flavor of the beef is very good. The cheese...no so good. Starting with my second I just ordered the Plain Jane. Toppings bar is a great idea...but after 10-12 kids get through it, it is an absolutely mess. Try as they might, the Carnival worker could just not keep it stocked and clean. I just took my burger into the Lido for toppings. The fries are really bad. But I am particular about fries. If they are not crinkle cut, they are not fries IMO.

On our next cruise on the Breeze in August, I will just order a double Plain Jane and again head to the lido for toppings!

These burgers and fries seem to vary from ship to ship according to some. On Magic, I thoughts they were great and as good as 5 guys. I hope you find the same on Conquest :)

Much better than 5 Guys. Only had one Guy's that was only fair and that was week of 4/1/17 on Magic.

Wish they had longer hours.

me too yummy:D

And they were awesome when we had them too. The bar for fixins was really filled with everything you can imagine and mine was medium rare. I guess it's the cook . No burnt hamburgers on the ship was on.
