I just booked my first 3 day solo trip on RC and when I posted on here I forgot to ask about the points. Will I get double the points for cruising solo even though its just a short trip?

Thanks

Yes, RCCL changed its policy last year and solo cruisers now get double points.

I believe that you only get double points if you paid some sort of supplement (which you likely did). Even just a 10% supplement is sufficient to qualify, it doesn't need to be the full 100% surcharge.

If there was NO solo supplement charged, they won't give you the double points.

I got 16 points for an 8 day cruise in April on RCCL IOS. However, you really need to keep an eye out and make sure that they do this as I had to call them as I didn't receive any points at all. When I called the lady said that I was on "comp" cruise which was totally wrong. I paid $1500 and she then pointed out to me that I would get the double points since I was a solo cruiser. Took another month to get the points on my record.
