Jade Sushi on the Independence of the Seas

Has any one eaten at Jade Sushi on the Independence? We loved the sushi from Izumi on the Vision and were wondering if it was good on the Independence. We will be on the Independence for the first time this Thanksgiving and can't wait to see what all the bigger ship has to offer.

Jade on Indy is just a section of Windjammer. During the evening it usually has some sushi, but in my sushi expert's opinion (my wife), it's not as good as Izumi.

The free sushi in Jade is nowhere near as good as in Izumi. Not even close. They use too much rice and not enough of the goods.

That is correct - but you generally get what you pay for:):)

The sushi in windjammer ( Jade - Freedom ) is generally rolls with lots of rice and small drop of veggies or smoked salmon .

Thanks for all the insight...I'd rather pay for great sushi than to have it be mediocre and free. I guess I'll have to try it and see.

I agree with the others, the free stuff from Jade isn't very good. Pretty bland, mostly rice and veggies.

But they do have wasabi. That'll perk it up a bit.
