Vaccinations for a PC cruise ?

Summary: Standard Canal cruise, no. Only if you are going exploring deep in the jungle.

A good place to start for this type of info when you travel is the CDC's web site; check out where you are going and what they recommend.

 

And if you have a good travel clinic nearby, that's another place.

 

FWIW, we have a transit coming up in January. Based on what the CDC says, it looks like the Hep A vaccine (which we've already had) and typhoid vaccine may be advisable. Going to see our travel clinic soon.

 

Hep A, btw, is pretty prevalent around the world, including in the U.S.; not unreasonable to be vaccinated, period.
