Rare Turtles06 Posted September 15, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 15, 2016 A good place to start for this type of info when you travel is the CDC's web site; check out where you are going and what they recommend. And if you have a good travel clinic nearby, that's another place. FWIW, we have a transit coming up in January. Based on what the CDC says, it looks like the Hep A vaccine (which we've already had) and typhoid vaccine may be advisable. Going to see our travel clinic soon. Hep A, btw, is pretty prevalent around the world, including in the U.S.; not unreasonable to be vaccinated, period.

cb at sea Posted September 16, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 16, 2016 No vaccinations are required...and unless you plan to spend a great deal of time in the "wilds", you really won't come in contact with anything that should worry you...unless you have health issues...then you should talk to your doctor!
