7-16-15 Thursday Weigh-In....Summer Foods

Is your summer foods good or bad for your weight loss

Do you give in at times or instead have a salad toss

 

Do you give in to dips and chips

Or you don't let them pass your lips

 

BBQ meats not to bad but do you say no to the bread and potato

Need to have more veggies and a tomato

 

Do you give in to desserts you make and bake

You know we shouldn't cook them but it's for the family's sake (yeah right)

 

Now to the drinks do you only drink water everyday

No adult drinks in any way

 

Lets be truthful we're only human in here

We try our best everyday but sometimes we give in to what's near

 

We know when we do right each week

Most likely will have a loss we seek

 

Our goal is to lose weight and maintain our loss's forever sounds good

We know there will be bumps along the way for us to deal with our food

 

So we will never give up even if the scale doesn't go down

Because the next week we try harder and the scale won't give us a frown

Hi all!

 

Belle ~ very nice ode to summer eating!:D We've already had local corn here & you know what that means....margarine (or butter!).

 

I am amazed that I stayed the same, as yesterday I attended a "Christmas in July" lunch for seniors at the Legion. The Christmas pudding was so yummy.:p

I loss maybe a lb, trying so hard but so slow.

Did do good over weekend SO FAR still have hours

to go in Calif.

 

Alright I want all of back here on Thursday and ALL

others that are missing and you that are reading.

Good group and we don't bite! (unless it's food)

shootr ~ lovely pictures as usual! Looks like you're having a good time & getting some exercise in too!

 

Belle ~ Thursday will tell the tale of how the weekend went! I did break down & buy some chips which I really fancied last night. Good for you losing a pound.

 

I'm going to my sister's cottage tomorrow after lunching at an Italian restaurant with a friend so it might not be good news from me Thursday.

I also plan to stop at a bakery & maybe a chocolate factory .:o

I forgot to weigh myself last week. DH had knee surgery, so I was home for a few days. I believe I am the same though. Was expected to see this weeks weigh-in, but so far nothing ...

 

Belle, if you don't post by tonight, I'll be glad to start the new thread ... hope everything is ok with you. Jan
